Nice to meet you! My name is Kelly, and I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario, and a recent graduate of Yorkville University’s Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology program.
I believe that therapy is a safe space for exploration and growth. My goal is to meet you where you’re at, from a place of empathy and collaboration, and to draw on your creative strengths and innate abilities to help find your way. I want to hear you, explore your values with you, and help discover a deeper sense of meaning in your life.
As a queer-identifying therapist, I work with folx in the LGBTQ2IA+ community. I have a special interest in working with folx who identify as being on the asexual spectrum, and those who do not conform to traditional gender norms. Additionally, I work from a body positive/body neutral lens and consider myself a fat practitioner who loves to help fat folx from a non-pathologizing stance. I also specialize in working with artists and creative folx, individuals who have alternative beliefs - those who identify as witches, pagans, Satanists, etc., and those who have had strange or paranormal experiences.
I work from an integrative and anti-oppressive standpoint, drawing mainly on strategies grounded in Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Existential Therapy, and Depth Psychology.
While I do offer sliding scale rates, please note that minimum fee sessions are not viewable through this online booking page, and are subject to agreement between therapist and client.
